It was brought to my attention that NOW 91 in the US has not come out, even the website is not giving a date just "third quarter." Does anyone know if this is the end of the series? Its been done for 26 years and with the streaming of music and easy download accessibility it might have stopped. If so long live NOW and its too bad they did not get to 100....

Personally, I wouldn't read too much into this. People are so impatient nowadays and are quick to jump to conclusions without knowing what's going
on behind the scenes. That said, the fact that CD sales are so bad these days, nothing would surprise me.

If the year ends and there is no NOW 91 CD release then I would say it's probably never going to happen.
The franchise may be shifting to only three releases per year instead of four. Meanwhile, it's a wait and see scenario.

The New Zealand edition of Now That's What I Call Music was discontinued without notice in 2020, after 61 volumes.

I believe this was due to low sales and a major retail chain's decision to stop selling CDs.

So it's possible that the USA might be following suit?
