Hi y'all,
I just got a copy of the CD maxi-single for Duice's "Dazzey Duks." I was surprised -- hadn't even known there was a domestic CD single for this.
It has five versions: Radio Version, Instrumental, Mega Mix, Low Rider Mix, Ruffhouse Mix.
So my questions are:
1. What was the A-side of the cassingle, the Radio Version or the LP Version? Is there a difference?
2. Is the B-side of the cassingle the full 5:12 (approximately) Ruffhouse Mix, or did they edit it down?
Gracias!

I bought the maxi CD when it first came out, and I also own the full-length cassette. I am not aware of any differences between the LP version and "Radio Version," although I've never A/B'd them.

the cassingle DOES NOT state a version.......but i believe the version on the a side is the same as the full lp/cd version.......the b-side has the song "dazzey duks remix" (ruffhouse version)....i don't know if it's the same as the 5:12 version you referenced..............would you like an mp3 copy to compare yourself???

Actually, yes, Ed, if you don't mind. Low-qual MP3s are fine... I just need to hear them for comparison.

Yes, you did, Ed, but I can't remember off the top of my head which version was which. I'll have to double check.
