Here's another interesting dj cd single that I came across -- When You Were Young by the Killers. The only track on the dj cd single states a "radio version" but I cannot detect any difference between the "radio version" and the cd version found on the Sam's town cd? Anyone else notice a difference?

I noticed the same thing--the "Radio Version" and the LP version sound the same to me. The same situation exists on the 1 track promo cd for Mr Brightside. The track states "Single Version" but I can't detect any differences from the LP.

I can't speak for the Killers' management, nor their imprints, but I truly suspect the reason for this is because they have also released some *killer* 4-minute dance-radio remixes that they have promoted to various formats and it's just their way of saying it's the original, mainstream pop-rock version.
