I have an import CD from Micheal Jackson entitled "The 12" Mixes" which feature 12" Mixes from the Thriller album.

Are there any differences between the LP version and the 12" Mix for "Beat It", "Thriller" and "PYT"?

For those of you interested, here is the track listing and times:

1) Billie Jean - 6:23
2) Beat It - 4:17
3) Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' - 6:30
4) Thriller - 5:56
5) PYT - 4:01

I'm assuming that "Billie Jean", "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" are the correct 12" version but I have nothing to compare them to.

i don't hear any differences.. the 12" versions to Beat It, Thriller and PYT were the standard album versions.

Does anyone have a good copy that they can send of Jacko's "Thrileer" edit without the Vincent rap? I don't feel too bad asking since I've looked high and low for it (for years actually), and I've spent plenty of bucks on several vinyl Jackson releases.

If anyone can help I appreciate it.

I guess you didn't know it was reissued in the past several years. The no-rap version is still widely and reasonably available on the "Thriller" DualDisc from the Michael Jackson Visionary Singles box from Amazon UK. You can get sealed a copy for six pounds:
