Hi again Pat-
There is a comment on the Madonna "Express Yourself" entry on the database that reads:
"actual 45 time is (4:35) not (4:30) as stated on the record label"
Only a three second discrepancy really, but I checked the actual running time of the 7" Remix on CD (here referred to as the 45 version) and the counter shows 4:38 minutes.
The promotional CD (PRO-CD-3541) also states an incorrect 4:30 running time.

Elco, you're looking at the "time remaining" counter on the CD player, and it's counting the dead three seconds before the second track. The track runs an actual 4:35, more like 4:34:30, actually... I just checked it.

You're right Brian, there is no music at all in the last three seconds.
I am aware of the usual two-three "dead" seconds, I didn't think the iTunes player would include them.
I had also extracted the track with Soundforge and it went all the way to 4:38, too.
The CD player did stop at 4:35, so I will use it as reference from now on.
Thanks!
