So this Cyndi Lauper single didn't crack the top 40, stalling at 71 as
the last single from the album "True Colors" in 1987. The US, Europe
and Japan all used the 45 version for the single release, a heavily
edited remix of the album version which only seems to have made
an appearance on CD on this Japanese promo compilation. But
maybe somebody has seen it elsewhere on CD? I would be very
interesed in listening to a digital version of this.

I've not found any evidence that it was released on a promo CD single.
I looked for one back when I was cataloging my '87 promo CDs.
If you can't find a digital source, it's very likely I have an unplayed stock
45.
