This might be of interest to people on this board (and it may be something for the database, too):
Though the album length recording (3:40) is only 6 seconds longer than the single length recording (3:34) and seeming like a very minor detail -- on the single length recording the fade starts only a little bit after the bridge ends and the 3rd chorus begins, specifically at 3:10. But on the album length version, you get almost a whole chorus at full volume before the fade begins at 3:28 or 3:29.
It should be noted in the database that the lone CD entry is the single length. (And for those fans of this song, the full album length version is available on Photoglo's Japanese CD).
