Can the LP version of Jungle Love from the Ice Cream Castle LP be edited down to the single length? I know this version is available on a few compliations, but want to avoid the compression/maximization issues that plague many of the CDs produced in the last decade.
Also, can "The Bird" also be edited to single length from the Ice Cream Castle version?

I edited both "Jungle Love" and "The Bird" down to the single versions, but I did it in 1998 and I don't remember the edit points. I took the LP versions from Ice Cream Castle, and I remember it being only a few straightforward edits.
Let me know if I should look into these tracks again...

Jungle Love - yes.
The Bird - no.
The Bird has some unique reverb on the ending that is not present on the LP version. If you don't care about the reverb, you could use the LP, which has at least a half dozen edits to make the single.
