Pat:
It's caught my attention in the 10th edition that you show CD appearances of Howard Jones' "You Know I Love You... Don't You?" with the comment: "LP length". But according to Joel Whitburn's Top Pop Annual, the single run time is listed at 4:04, which is only one to two seconds longer than the run times shown in the book as being the LP length. Is Whitburn's 4:04 time accurate here?

My 45 is a white label dj copy that runs (3:45) as stated on the label. Don't know about the commercial copy.

I just got a confirmation from Ed that the commercial 45 of "You Know I Love You... Don't You?" runs 4:04 and is the same version that has appeared on all domestic CD releases. The 3:45 length is evidently found only on DJ copies, so it looks like all CDs containing this song should have the accompanying "LP length" comment removed.
