Abba material is pretty pricey out there as I'm finding.
1) Can the 4:20 DJ edit of "The Winner Takes It All" be recreated from the LP version?
2) Can the 4:38 DJ Edit of "Chiquitita" be recreated from the LP version?

Okay, I'm game. Let's see... the going rate for ABBA DJ edit information is..... Oooohhh, This is gonna cost you plenty! The winner DOES take it all! :)
"The Winner Takes It All" is simply an early fade. The actual 45 time is (4:22). The speed of the track from the Thank You For The Music set is the same speed as the DJ 45. Fade times are 4:07.870 to 4:22.310.
The station I was at began playing "Chiquitita" from the German Polydor single, so we stuck with that full-length version even after the long/short US promo 45 was released. I hadn't played my DJ short side in 29 years until today. The 45 runs a bit faster than the CD track from Thank You For The Music and there are two edits. Actual 45 time is (4:35).
Delete the segment from 2:43.798 (beginning with "The walls came tumbling down...") to 3:06.754 (beginning with "Chiquitita tell me the truth...") This is not an entirely in-the-clear edit, as there is a bass part on the second segment that is not present on the first. The DJ edit has a little bit of that bass just before the vocal comes in; it might be possible to tighten that up a bit, but I'll stick to what is on the 45.)
Delete the segment from 3:08.278 (beginning with "I know...") to 3:31.879 (beginning with "I cry...") I'd initially edited at "know" and "cry," but that came out sounding more like "I lie" than "I cry."
The finished track runs about 4:38. Fade it out completely at 4:35.620, then speed up the track to 4:35.190.
