My promo CD single of "Let's Get Married" is pressed on an official Columbia CD-R with no catalog number and has the following tracks:
1. Reception Remix (printed & actual 3:50)
2. Remarqable Remix (printed 4:23; actual 4:09)*
*My old top 40 station played cut 2 when the song was a current/recurrent (which I believe is the same "remix" that shows up on two database CDs). In my area, only urban stations played the original LP version. Anyone have the same recollection?

Reception Remix? Sounds perfect to play at a Wedding! :)
EDITED TO ADD: Just listened to a sample and it sounds nothing like the Remarqable remix!

Yeah, the "Reception Remix" was nothing like the LP version, either. Totally different, and probably not perfect to play at a wedding. I never thought this song was a good wedding song (although I did play it a number of times when it was requested). It might have been great if not for the lyric "we ain't gettin' no younger, so we might as well do it." I don't think most people picture their wedding day as an "aw, what the hell" moment in their lives.

Agreed - although I think a lot of couples don't listen to their wedding song's lyrics as closely as they should. Case in point: check out all the couples who have chosen the stalker creepiness of "Every Breath You Take"!

I think this is a case where the remix got played, and the 4:25 LP version was too slow. I remember cut 2 got a lot of airplay!
