There are three promo CD singles for this one, and I just pulled out the most unusual one:

PRCD 9701-2
1. Radio Edit w/o Guitar (listed & actual 4:17)
2. Album Version w/o Guitar (listed & actual 4:41)

The other two I have are:

PRCD 9712-2
1. 2000 Watts Remix-Featuring Raw Digga (listed 4:09)
2. 2000 Watts Remix-Edit w/o Rap (listed 4:03)
3. 2000 Watts Extended Rap Remix-Featuring Raw Digga (listed 4:10)

PRCD 9682-2
1. Radio Edit (listed 4:04)
2. Soundtrack Version (listed 4:52)
3. Instrumental (listed 4:52)

Feel free to ask if you need actual run times on the last two.

Ed was kind enough to send me a copy of the radio edit
for review. Unless I'm mistaken, I don't think you can
recreate the radio edit from the LP version.

That's correct. The intros are different for sure. There might even be
some different ad libs, but I haven't compared the two directly.

Top Hits USA considered the "Radio Edit" to be the hit version back in 1996. It turned up on their T0347 weekly disc and their RH39 recurrent disc.
