my commercial 45 for the duprees song "you belong to me"
issued as coed 569 states the run time as 2:39 but only
runs 2:34....if you fade the 2:42 version for 0:11 from
2:23 to 2:34 you'll effectively re-create the true 45
version.....pat, where did you come up with the 2:37 run
time info.....are there two different vinyl 45's?.....btw,
most of the faded versions in the db run 2:34....

Ed my 45 runs (2:37) with matrix number N9OW 1629 and does fade out. This information was also provided back on May 13, 2007 by Tom Diehl in a thread called "Various 45 Timing Anomalies". What is your matrix number? Are you sure you do not have a Canadian pressing?

mine is NOT a canadian issue but a us one.....my run out
info is the same as yours..."N90W-1629"....i just listened
to it again.....there is a slight speed issue but nothing
major....my vinyl 45 is a little scratchy during the fade
out.....so it's possible it runs 2:37.....if you feel
strongly about your data, let's stick with what we have....
