While not a top 40 hit, it is the B-side to American Pie Part 1 which was released as a 45.
While the 8 min plus version did get airplay and that is readily available on numerous CD's, I am quite interested in knowing if anyone has ever seen or can locate the American Pie Part 2 B-Side on CD anywhere or if it is has to be converted from the 45.
It starts at the Helter Skelter part but appears to be a unique enough opening in volume increase that you can't simply divide the 8 min plus version to obtain the second part.

I'm not aware of part 2 ever being on CD but it can be
created digitally if you're good with editing software.
The part 2 intro fades up right before the drums kick in
around 1:26 of the long version, then edit to the helter
skelter line.
