I just hope quality control is such that the set
delivers on its promises. It does look really good.

I'm kind of curious about the U.S. Edit of 25 or 6 To 4 ('86). I always thought the 4:15 on the LP (Chicago 18) was the same as the 45 version. I dont see anything on discogs showing that there was an "Edit" as the time of the 45 appears to list 4:09.

There is a notation on the 12 inch which identifies the 4:09 as the LP version. Anyone want to chime in?

I wonder if it's another case similar to Fleetwood Mac's "Save Me" where the 45 was literally a few seconds shorter than the LP
Version, and that the only difference was an earlier fade?

The US stock 45 fades about 11 seconds earlier for the '86 version of "25 Or 6 To 4." There is a promo version labeled "Edit Without Guitar" that is a unique mix.

Has anyone bought this collection? If so, does
it have the right edits and how is it as far
as sound goes?

Hi Dan, I have a copy of this collection, it really sounds
very good, if you want me to send you a copy so that you
can compare the sound and versions yourself, let me know.

cheers

I have it too. I'd say this collection is more for this board's taste than mine. I'm still liking the Group Portrait collection best.

A good collection of clean sounding single and likely 45 versions.
