Wikipedia lists a promo CD for "It's Your Love" by Tim
McGraw with Faith Hill having a "Hot A/C Mix". I found a UK
promo CD with this mix on Discogs:
https://www.discogs.com/release/3876954-Tim-McGraw-With-
Faith-Hill-Its-Your-Love
Was this "Hot A/C Mix" ever promoted in the U.S.? (I would
assume that it removes the steel guitar). Thanks.

I do have a promo CD single for "It's Your Love" (CURB D-1339), but the only track on it is the 3:40 LP version. I was working in top 40 in 1997, and I don't recall any CHR stations playing it. I don't know if Hot AC played it or not, but there's no mention of it charting in the US except on the Hot 100 and Country charts. A quick look at that UK promo shows a copyright date of 1998, which would've been after the song had already made its chart run here.

I was working in country radio then and I also do not recall hearing
about any pop station playing "It's Your Love". Although we certainly
wore it out on our country station. We played the LP version as a
current, and then alternated it with a live acoustic version as a
recurrent. I'm not familiar with any other mix of this song.

I came across an official Curb 1-track CD-R, dated June 11, 1997, and it has the "Special Hot Summer Nights Remix" (printed 3:42; actual 3:47). This is the same as the Hot AC Mix issued on the UK promo. In fact, that disc is digitally identical to the CD-R I have.

Wow. Thanks for this information, Aaron. Cool to see that
it did get a U.S. release.

Wow. The US promo must be quite rare. Not even on Discogs.
When I Google "Special Hot Summer Nights Remix" nothing at
all comes up...
It's an excellent mix! I presume no engineering credits on
the US promo CD-R; any mix credits on the UK promo?

No mix credits on the UK promo, Andy. I am, too, curious
who remixed this track.

The electric rhythm (crunch) guitars that are prominently
displayed in this remix give the cut an amazing power.
I would have loved to have known about this mix when the
song was new. It was absolutely huge at the weddings I
DJ'd and this mix would have been perfect for the less
Country-tolerant crowds.
