Full title is "Give Me the Keys (and I'll Drive You Crazy)" by Huey Lewis and the News. It only hit #47 in early '89, snapping the band's 13-single streak of Top 40 hits. Nowadays, I bet anyone would kill for the kind of sales and airplay that got this to #47.
The 45s all say the single version is a John Luongo mix/edit running 3:59. I don't have it so can't confirm.
The video runs about 3:51 and is a remix with intermittent tambourine, e.g. plainly audible from 0:10 to 0:18.
The same remix, but not fading out until 4:09, is on the promo Hitmakers Top 40 CD Sampler vol. 14 (Dec 9, 1988).
A promo 12" claims to have a 4:39 version of the Remix but as far as I can tell, it actually just plays the 4:35 Small World album version.
The Dutch anthology CD Collected has a 4:01 "Single Edit" which is not remixed, but rather is just an edit of the LP version, shortening the sax solo.
Can anyone confirm what the 45 or cassette single plays?
