Some of you may know that in the days of vinyl ERIC 45s
many times had unique or rare stereo versions. I know
here we have discussed various stereo singles issued on
the original labels during various decades.
Could we get members to chime in on unique ERIC singles
that you have in your collection.
I am pretty sure I have a stereo single of Ritchie Valens
Donna/LaBamba ERIC 139
Del Shannon – Runaway / Hats Off To Larry ERIC 189 (both
sides stereo) "Runaway" is an alternative stereo take and
different from the original single release.
I'm sure there are others.
I don't have this single but in price guides some
pressings of this has a rare single tracked vocal on
Johnny Angel, not available anywhere else.
Shelley Fabares – Johnny Angel / Johnny Loves Me ERIC
115.
What interesting ERIC reissues do you have in your
collection?

Paul, That's interesting about Johnny Angel. I didn't know that. 'La Bamba' is way out-of-phase. I would have
customers bring them back and complain. The customers probably had mono jukeboxes. I probably have thousands of
ERIC singles (second only to Bill Buster). If anybody gives you a clue as to which ones may be 'different', I'd
like to know. Thanks. -Bill.
