I have a copy of "Pink Houses" on a TM Century Gold Disc that runs 4:05. According to Pat's book, the DJ 45 has a 3:59 version. Does anyone have the DJ 45 to see if the "Short Version" really runs 3:59 or if the label is incorrect?

Pink Houses, the short version is on a pink vinyl promo 45 and even though the time states 3:59, it really runs 4:05.

Pat, I just re-discovered the listed/actual time anomoly for the DJ 45 "short version" side of "Pink Houses", but I just checked, and found that the database has never previously been updated to reflect this information.

As is usually the case, at least one of the edit points on the GoldDisc is slightly off. I made a rule to not use TM Century in-house edits for my library, because they are rarely exact. If 100% accuracy is not vitally important, their edit does come very close to matching the actual promo 45.

My recreation runs 4:05. If I recall, I used a promo 45
on YouTube as a guide.
