I was just browsing at ITunes and noticed that a (3:30) version of Grand Funk's "Shinin' On" is available on, of all places, the Bad News Bears soundtrack (Rykodisc 10825). I'm assuming it's the single version (although in the case of ITunes it's only available by buying the entire album). There's a couple of other chart songs on there as well.

Pat:
Speaking of Grand Funk Railroad, I notice you have the comment: (24 bit mastering) listed next to several of the group's CDs in the database. Just curious, does your use of the "24 bit mastering" comment imply that you think these discs contain superior sound quailty, or should this comment be taken as nothing more than another way of stating: (remastered)?

No I don't intend to put my seal of approval on a cd with the comment "24 bit mastering". Some folks are really into that information and feel it is a superior product so when it is identified on the cd jacket as being 24 bit remastered I mention it for that reason.

My commercial 45, which is stereo, has a listed time of (3:23), but an actual time of (3:27).
