I've been putting together cds of complete chart hits for the A artists lately. For Bryan Adams, I was able to track down all his 1990s 'single' versions on the import cd singles but I have a question on 3 of his 80s hits that are different on 45, according to the db.
Somebody
One Night Love Affair
Victim of Love
none of the single versions of these 3 songs is on cd (at least not domestically). Is the difference between the 45 and LP versions of these songs simply that they run shorter (i.e. early fades?). And does anyone know if the single edits are available on any cds anywhere - promos, imports?
and lastly, I apologize if I fumble around a bit or use a wrong term here and there. I am learning as I go here. :)
Thanks again all!
Nathan

Nathan:
The 45 version of "Somebody" is an edit of the LP version.
The "One Night Love Affair" 45 is an early fade of the LP.
The short 45 length of "Victim of Love" is an early fade of the LP.
I'm not aware of any of these songs appearing anywhere on CD in their 45 form.

I think "Somebody" was issued on a Canadian compilation, but I don't know the name of the CD offhand.
