my commercial 45 for the innocents song "gee whiz" issued
as indigo 111 states the run time as 2:25 and does indeed
run that length and is slightly sped up versus the cd
versus listed below

Thanks for the info, Ed. The song runs (2:25) on the Canadian CD, Treasured Tunes Volume 6. Now I know it is the correct speed. (It's from a good tape source, which is definitely not the case for all songs in this series.)

While it's nice to have "Gee Whiz" closer to the correct speed on the Treasured Tunes Volume 6 CD, it'd be even nicer if the fading final note wasn't truncated on that disc. (Grrrr, just can't win!) Nonethless, thanks, Ed and Paul, for helping uncover this.
