Hey all,
Could anyone post the actual time of their 45 for "House
Of The Rising Sun"?
I have 2 reference dubs. The first one runs (3:20).
It fades out completely on the word "sun" in the last
verse.
The other one runs at a slower pitch, and fades a little
later and it runs (3:24). After the word "sun" you can
hear "and it's been" as the last words.
Any info appreciated.

Mark, mine's a Columbia Terre Haute pressing, running 3:23.9. The final word is "sun," but the instrumentation continues past it, right up to just before the word "and" would appear, at which point the fade dumps out very abruptly.

3:22.5 on my Parrot stock copy. Gone shortly after the word SUN. "Bell Sound" logo on the deadwax on the "Drivin' Blues" side. Deadwax on House of the Rising Sun side is
simply CL7769 -
