This #40 Billboard B-side isn't listed in the database because it didn't chart in Cash Box at all. (Cash Box was still totally sales based at that time, so it must have achieved its Billboard position from airplay.)
It seems to have been issued on precious few CDs. Can anyone tell me where I can find it, preferrably in mono?

I have "Just a Little" in mono on the 3-CD Brenda Lee set 36 All-Time Greatest Hits. For some reason they needed three CDs for 36 songs, only three of which are more than three minutes long. It includes all her Billboard Top 40 non-Christmas hits including those listed in the database as unavailable on a domestic CD. It is a GSC Music/MCA Special Products/timelessmusic.com release "distributed exclusively by Entertainment Distributing" 15415 MSD3-37197. I can't remember if I purchased it in a store or from Collectors' Choice (probably the latter).
I don't know why this U.S. release is not listed in the database. Perhaps this is not considered a regular release.

Thanks, Paul! I had a feeling it might be on that one.
Whee hoo! Now I've got total Brenda Lee mono satsifaction! (Does that sound kinky?) I've also got "That's All You Gotta Do" in mono on a Reader's Digest UK comp, so the A and B sides of both her #1 singles are available on CD in their original single mixes.
Now if only I could find "Papa Noel" and "Sweet Nothin's" in mono somewhere.

Wow! This Brenda Lee 36 All-Time Greatest Hits CD set comes as awesome news because I have been searching for her most elusive Top 40 hits on CD including "Think" and "Rusty Bells", which both appear to be on this compilation! The bad news is, I can't seem to find a copy of this CD set anywhere (not even on the www.timelessmusic.com website), so I gather this compilation must be out of print?

"Think" is in mono on that 3 CD set but it sure does sound great in stereo.

Yes, it seems to be out of print. I'm going to comb some used CD stores here in L.A. this holiday weekend (thankfully none of them are anywhere near a mall), so I'll see what I can see. I have a funny feeling FYE might have a used copy; maybe I've seen one there before.

Thanks, Ed. I did manage to get a copy a year or so ago.

Is "Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree" a unique mono mix? The mono copy I have sounds like a fold-down to me.

Not sure... I've never heard the 45.

I listened to a 45 dub on YouTube and it also sounds like a fold down,
so I will assume it is until someone points out otherwise.
