my cassingle issued as ffrr 886798 states the version on the cassingle and sleeve as the (7" mix), but as far as i can tell it is identical to the full length cd/lp version from the below cd and runs 3:48

(S) (3:48) Polydor 847267 Cathy Dennis - Move To This

Thanks for the info, Ed. Is your cassingle credited simply to "Cathy Dennis"? My Canadian 7-inch single is credited to "D-Mob Introducing Cathy Dennis". According to the Billboard charts, the song was not issued as a 7-inch single in the U.S.

At the time it was a hit, it appeared on two CD's: The She-Devil soundtrack and D-Mob's A Little Bit Of This, A Little Bit Of That. It was also included on the Cathy Dennis debut album Ed mentions when it was released about a year later.

Pat:

Just an FYI... When conducting an artist search for Cathy Dennis, the database correctly shows the following general comment for "C'mon and Get My Love":

(dj copies of this cd single run (3:48) not (3:50) as stated on the cd, and (4:14) the "hot mix"; the cassette single runs (3:48) the "7 inch mix")

However, when doing an artist search for D-Mob introducing Cathy Dennis, the database currently only shows the DJ info for the song. The cassette single info is missing.

Also, has anyone been able to confirm with 100% certainty that the single and album version of "C'mon and Get My Love" are identical? I don't recall any difference offhand, but I also no longer have a cassette single copy to compare.

I thought I had posted the following info elsewhere, but I don't think it would hurt to mention it again here... The database correctly states that the cassette single for D-Mob introducing Cathy Dennis' "C'mon and Get My Love" runs 3:48 and consists of the "7 inch mix". It's probably worth noting that the "7-Inch Mix" is indeed identical to the album version. (Thanks to Ed for shooting me a dub of his cassette single for comparison purposes.)
