Some posts on Discogs indicate that this was included for free with
their Rock N Soul album, which came out in the advance of the holiday
1983 season.
That would explain why so many copies are in circulation. I recently
bought a copy of the promo 45 that happened to include a mass-printed
jukebox title strip. I was surprised that jukebox operators/suppliers
would have gone to the trouble to print those for a promo released only
to radio, but it makes more sense if RCA pressed these for consumers,
even in a limited run.
EDIT: I noticed that, while the record label notes a 1983 copyright, the
picture sleeve says 1985. Is anyone aware or a rerelease at that point?
