Ron, are the CDs that cut off the quickie guitar strums the stereo DJ 45
mix, as noted above?

According to the database, the stereo 45 version only
appears on one CD. Everything else is the LP version.

I haven't heard the commercial 45 or promo 45 versions, but I really doubt it. The two versions I listed above track really closely with the others, and I couldn't hear any differences.
I'm 99% sure it's a mastering error, likely originating on the JCI disc.

Thanks to John G, I'm now 100% certain that the JCI and Simitar discs have a mastering error that cuts off the opening two guitar strums. They're the LP mix otherwise.
