I will agree with the comment that Hykker made about the classic rock stations abandoning a lot of the music that (Originally), made them popular.
Yesterday, I stumbled across a series of CDR needle drop discs at a local used record store. Apparently, a local guy did his best at trying to preserve a lot
of good old classics from his vinyl collection, or at least be able to listen more easily on CD. I'm guessing he assembled this set of discs 20 - 25 years ago.
On the collection are tracks I haven't heard in decades. Some I don't even remember, but that's not too uncommon these days.
I remember a song that has a different thread here called D.O.A. by Bloodrock. I think there might be another track in the set as well. What I didn't know was,
there must be an edited version that was played on the radio. I don't think this is one of those songs that deserved all 8+ minutes to the airwaves. If they
did play all 8 minutes, I would be surprised. I enjoyed this track as a teen, but can't bring myself to listen to it as an adult.
