My commercial 45 has a listed time of (3:46), but an actual time of (3:43).

According to the database, the Nipper's Greatest Hits - The '70s CD (RCA 8476) contains Morris Albert's "Feelings". However, my copy of the CD does not. The catalog number on my disc is RCA 9684-2-R and contains this track listing:

1) The Friends of Distinction - Love or Let Me Be Lonely
2) The Guess Who - American Woman
3) Jerry Reed - Amos Moses
4) Perry Como - It's Impossible
5) Harry Nilsson - Without You
6) The Jimmy Castor Bunch - Troglodyte (Cave Man)
7) The Main Ingredient - Everybody Plays the Fool
8) Elvis Presley - Burning Love
9) B.W. Stevenson - My Maria
10) Hues Corporation - Rock the Boat
11) The Tymes - You Little Trustmaker
12) Reunion - Life Is a Rock (But the Radio Rolled Me)
13) Styx - Lady
14) Jefferson Starship - Miracles
15) Vicki Sue Robinson - Turn the Beat Around
16) Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band - Cherchez La Femme
17) Hall & Oates - Rich Girl
18) Dolly Parton - Here You Come Again
19) Odyssey - Native New Yorker
20) Evelyn "Champagne" King - Shame

So I guess I must have a different pressing of the Nipper's Greatest Hits - The '70s? Pat, how does my track listing differ from your copy?

Meanwhile, I have "Feelings" on two CDs, but they're both hissy and contain the bad audio dropout at the :04 mark (which the database correctly notes on these discs). Can anyone confirm that the dropout is not present on the following CDs: '70s Party (Killers) Classics (Rhino 75233) and AM Gold - Mellow Hits of the '70s (Time-Life R984-31)? I'm considering buying one of these discs and would first like to make sure the song's intro is fully intact.

My copy of Nipper's Greatest Hits - The 70's (RCA 84762R) does not
have Dr. Buzzard or Odyssey, but does have Morris Albert and Bonnie
Tyler's "It's A Heartache."

Todd you hit the nail right on the head when you indicated two different catalog numbers for this cd. The first issue was RCA 8476 but due to licensing issues, the cd had to be rereleased as RCA 9684 with the tracks It's a Heartache by Bonnie Tyler and Feelings by Morris Alpert being replaced with Cherchez La Femme by Dr. Buzzard and Native New Yorker by Odyssey

Thanks, Pat and Paul. I appreciate both of your assistance in clarifying the situation.

Now, regarding the second part of my question, can anyone confirm if "Feelings" does not contain a dropout at the :04 mark on the '70s Party (Killers) Classics (Rhino 75233) and/or the AM Gold - Mellow Hits of the '70s (Time-Life R984-31) discs?

Todd, the '70s Party (Killers) Classics CD has the dropout at :04. I don't have the other collection.

Thanks, Tim. I kinda suspected the '70s Party (Killers) Classics disc has the dropout given that all other Rhino CD compilations have it. Pat, at your convenience, could you please review the intro to "Feelings" on other CDs in the database and let us know if any of them do not contain the dropout?

I have listened to every cd in the database and the results are now published there Todd. I should note that I could not locate the Time-Life cd titled "Love Songs" so I cannot report back yet on the content of that cd.

I may be a glutton for punishment for asking, but what's edited out of the promo? :)

I recreated the edit a few years ago. My notes say (approx) 1:44.8 - 2:32.3, if that helps.
