OK Mark. Thank you very much for the information and clarification regarding the "Kind Of A Drag" track on Pop 60s.Having recently obtained this Pop 60s disc I had never seen or heard of those errant remix remarks or credits. For me case closed on this matter.
I hope to revisit the Greatest hits 1969 mix on a Columbia CD soon. I had that title all those years ago but dumped it after Bob Irwin's 1991 work hit. I will not let that mix burn into my brain as it did from 1969 to 1991 or so.

My last word and post on this matter. All things Mark and others have said regarding Kind Of A Drag proves true when listening to the different mixes. After getting all the versions it is fun to compare.
USA 1967 Mono 45 as heard on the Bob Stroud CD
USA 1967 Stereo LP as heard on the 1989 Sony comp
Columbia 1969 stereo remix on Columbia Greatest Hits CD
Bob Irwin 1991 stereo remix on Sundazed Kind Of A Drag CD
Too bad Bob could not exactly duplicate the original 1967 echo in 1991. Otherwise Bob nailed the track with added clarity.
