can't find a thread on these tracks.
What's the difference between the mono 45 and stereo LP of "You Don't Have
To Say You Love Me" and "The Next Step Is Love"?

From my notes for "The Next Step Is Love", there is additional percussion overdubbed on the LP version at :19 and there is a drum fill on the LP at 1:46 that is missing from the 45. For "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me", the 45 version has a piano tinkle at :26 not found on the 45. As I recall there are also some mix differences on both of these songs (45 vs LP).

re: "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me", I can hear the tinkle at 0:26 on the
mono version from "That's The Way It Is: Legacy Edition".
re: "The Next Step Is Love", I think the drum fill at 1:46 is there on the mono,
it's just mixed WAAAY down.
