my commercial 45 for the elton john song "who wears these shoes?" issued as geffen 29189 states the run time as 3:38 and does indeed run that length and is just an early fade of the full length 4:01 cd/lp version...this 45 run time s/b added to the db....thanks aaron for the fade you did for me.....

According to Discogs, this CD has a version of "Who Wears These Shoes" that would seem to match the 45 running time of 3:38,
but it's labelled as "Remix Version". Is it possible that the 45 is a slight remix from the album version and that the correct
45 version is on this CD? I noticed that this series of CD's tend to have quite a few single versions across the various
volumes.

I own that CD, and I detect no difference in mixes, and
as I recall I don't think Aaron did, either. The sound
is a little dull, too.
