The actual 45 running time of Supertramp's "It's Raining Again" is 4:22, not 4:25 as stated on the record label.

Hi, Todd. My stock 45 running time is also "4:22".

my commercial 45 issued as a&m 2502 states a run time on the label 4:25 but actually runs 4:22....if you fade the last 0:09 from 4:13 to 4:22 you'll effectively re-create the true 45 version.....it is simply an early fade of the version from the cd below
(S) (4:24) A&M 828397091 Very Best Of
the classics cd tries to match the 45 but it is about a second shorter of a fade.....so that it isn't correctly the 45 version....

There is a promo 12" single with the song labeled as CHR Mix. I did a careful A/B, and there are no mix differences between this and the LP/45 version. The promo 12" runs 4:24 with the last few notes barely audible.
