Apologies if this is posted somewhere on this board,
but various searches yielded no results.
The 45 shows a listed time of 3:38. However, someone
on 45cat.com mentions that it actually runs 4:00. The
promo video runs about 4:10 and features a unique intro
(I haven't heard it before). I am seeing CD appearances
(of what I would assume is the 45 version) running from
about 4:03 to 4:10. Any idea of the actual 45 running
time? I re-created it from the 12" version and faded it
to 4:01 but am doubting the end time now. Thank you in
advance for any help.

I just did a search for "Patrice Rushen Forget Me Nots
45" on YouTube, and there is a video of the 45 being
played. The music seems to start at :13 and fades out at
4:18, which would be 4 minutes and 5 seconds.

Sweet! Thank you! I found the video that you mention and
another one that appears to run 4:08 (by the time the
record stops), which is the time on a least 3 different
compilations. That's the time that I will use.

The 45 version is 4:04 as Aaron stated and on numerous released CD's.
