My commercial 45, confirmed as Atlantic 3547, with handwritten deadwax of
"ST-A-36264-2", has a listed time of (3:30), but an actual time of (3:33).

Instrumentals are sometimes a pain to match edits, but this one is pretty easy, with one edit and an early fade.
Remove the section between 2:32.9 and 4:24.8. It's on the synth/strings stab (and downbeat) after the ladies' "superman" echo fades away. You'll cut to a segment with a very similar stab where Herbie is now playing his flute along with the disco beat in the phone booth while taking off his suit and black-rimmed glasses.
Then there's an early fade: my 45 begins around 3:26 and fades out a tad longer (3:35) than what's listed above.

The 45 version is now on CD. Varese Sarabande recently released a Very Best Of disc and included the edit.
