I didn't find a thread on this, and the database only lists LP versions and neither LP nor single versions.
Does anybody know if the single and / or radio edit of Aldo Nova's "Fantasy" has ever made it into digital format?
Can the LP version be edited down to the single / radio version?

Ron has this listed in his database as being available on Best Of Aldo Nova, but perhaps his copy is an import. Pat's database says the US pressing of "Best Of" has the LP version. He does, however, list the 45 version on "Mullets Rock Too."
I just sent you a copy for your review.

"Mullets Rock Too"? Great title for a compilation!
The 45 can't be edited down from the LP version, because the guitar solo is unique to the 45. Portrait Records had a habit of making already-short songs even shorter for the 45s - see "On The Loose" and "Time After Time".
I don't have the "Best Of Aldo Nova" CD myself; someone sent me a file. It could very well be an import, or it could just be mislabeled.

I have a version that runs 3:59 (according to iTunes) that is on Monsters Of
Rock Volume 2. Razor and Tie from 2000. Not sure if the guitar solo is
different though.

That 3:59 version turns up in a few places. It's just the LP version with
the helicopter intro stripped off. The rest of the song is the same. It
doesn't match the 45.
