version and the 45 version?

The 45 version is a different mix, and also has a rather abrupt edit at the end of the song.

The LP and 45 mixes are very similar until the last minute. As the song comes to a close, the 45 mix has Glen's vocal becoming progressively lower and the orchestra louder. Then his final note on the word "believe" is faded all the way down, Glen disappears, and we hear just orchestra, then the abrupt edit to the final note of the cold end.
The LP mix has Glen at full volume and he finishes his last note.
