Our commercial copy of "All In My Mind" by Maxine Brown (Nomar 103) states a time of (2:15), but actually runs (2:24).

As was the case with her Top 40 hit "Funny", it looks like Maxine Brown's "All in My Mind" didn't emerge on a vinyl LP until 1963, approximately two years after the the song charted as a 45. Does anyone have The Fabulous Sound of Maxine Brown LP who can pass along the song's run time on it? I'm wondering if this may be the longer 2:32-2:33 length that has routinely appeared on CD.

Ed, I can't check any 45 running times as our turntable is out of commission, but I can report our deadwax info as 'N45 103 A-3'

My copy of this song is the N-45 103A-1 version and I time it out to 2:28. Paul has your turntable been repaired by now so you can recheck your running time?

Bringing forward this one...uh oh!
Just stumbled upon the45prof's posting of this 45 (although he doesn't
explicitly state it's a 45) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ep6CfmC9Aw
Unlike the version in my library from "The Scepter Records Story, the 45
does not contain the guitar intro, the trombone is mixed louder at the bg.,
there is a piano that starts at about 0:33, and it fades at the 2:24 point
(consistent with Paul's first post above).
So, it would seem that the database needs to be checked to see which CDs
might contain the actual 45 version. And, was this longer version the one
that was issued on the 1963 Wand LP "The Fabulous Sound Of Maxine
Brown"? Plus, maybe the later pressed 45s might just have a longer
version...

Thanks to David for bringing this one back up. I was able to re-time our original 45 and came up with the (2:24) time once again (see my other posts
above for the deadwax details). It does match the version that David posted the link for above:
