i noticed at the very end of Mama's Pearl on the Jacksons Story.. the song kind of fades out and then comes back in again for a split second or two.. is this sound dip a fault on my disc?

I had copied the track onto my iPod. Hadn't noticed anything like that after listening from about the (2:54) mark on.

I believe that this is still one of the mono mixes that Brian W. is trying to get
Harry Weinger to correct/provide to us, from what appears on Complete
Motown Singles. I just noticed that, now 2 pages strong, no 1971 45
specifics were ever provided for this song. So here goes:

My commercial 45 is mono, with a listed time of (3:09) and an actual time of
(3:11). Deadwax info is "C2-M5-D1-4 (handwritten, in error) M4001-01".
Also, both sides of my promo 45 have the exact same info.

An update on this one... For those who are sticklers about the exact versions, the stereo is very, very close but not quite the 45 version. On the stereo mix from Jacksons Story (and I assume Anthology), there is a waka-waka guitar on the intro. This guitar is not heard at all on the mono 45 intro.
