Two Joel Whitburn books I own, Pop Hits 1940-1954 (published in 1994) and Pop Hits Singles & Albums 1940-1954 (published in 2002), indicate that The Three Suns' version of "Cruising Down The River" reached #24 on the Billboard Best Sellers chart in 1949. I cannot locate this record on any actual Best Sellers chart. Can anyone who also has access to the actual charts confirm that this record actually made the Best Sellers chart? If so, it means that my collection of songs that made the Best Sellers chart is not actually complete and I have been living a lie all these years!!

Paul, that song actually charted on the Jockey chart, not the Best Sellers. It was simply entered wrong years ago, I've now made the correction. Thanks for bringing it to my attention!
