My commercial 45, which is mono, has a listed time of (1:57), but an actual time of (1:50). This bring the song into line with the vast majority of its current CD appearances, time-wise, in the database.

Was wondering if the 45 of this song was a fold down or
a dedicated mono mix.

To john [eriejwg]:

I do not own the 45, but I remember it as being a smokin' hot mix on the mono 45 with more bass & louder conga rolls.

Therefore my memory says "dedicated".

I have the 45, it is exactly as Andrew describes. You can't get that sound from the fold-down.

Thanks for the updated info. Yah Shure was kind enough
to send me a dub so I could hear what you're both
saying. Agreed, a dedicated mix.

Was the vinyl LP in mono? Stereo? Should the database
indicate a mix difference?

Stereo only, John. Liberty Records had discontinued issuing new mono LPs before the autumn of 1968.
