My copy arrived today. Pretty fast since the shipping
window they listed was 2/5-2/23. I, frankly, didn't
expect the CD's for a couple of weeks.
Everything sounds amazing! And, the 50th Anniversary
collection very happily replaces what I had in my
library for the Mamas and The Papas. :)

I have done a few ABC/Dunhill needledrops that sound
like
they could have come from tape. It's not that hard.

Grant, I am genuinely happy that you continue to be so
ultra-impressed,
year after year, with the quality of your own audio
results. But why on
earth do you feel the need to "re-post/re-congratulate"
yourself every
time the release of a new CD mastered by either Aaron or
Mark is
announced?
I have never posted on T4MOC about how good or bad I
think my own
vinyl dubs are. No matter the song or group. Why?
Because 1) no one else
cares, and 2) it honestly adds nothing to the forum
discussion, does it? |

I'm just making conversation. My post would have left
everyone's consciousness if you hadn't brought it up and
made an issue out of it. I'm sure this forum does not
appreciate this.
Now: i'm with Eric. This CD set replaces the other CDs
I have of the Mamas and the Papas in my collection.
