As the single shows (I don't have it to check) it runs 4:07, all versions that I've heard on cd run 4:20ish. Does anyone know if this is a case of the label not representing the actual time or maybe a fade.

my notes reflect that the 45 runs 4:07 and is just an early fade of the 4:20 cd/lp version

After responding to Doug's post, I checked for an old one, and here it is.
Bumping it up, to make sure both threads get an update (although I sure
wish I saw Ed's post here before going to all the apparently unnecessary
bother just now. (Hey, we're all human, and these things do happen. Bottom
line - you got your answer Doug, so don't sweat it, my friend. :) )

Jim, you're a class act. Thank you for the bother. :)
(That goes for everyone else here too.)

And just by the way, if you want to make your own fade, it starts around 3:55.
