I searched but can't find an existing thread for this one either, surprisingly.

Can the 3:45 dj & commercial 45 version be created using the LP version? Any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Found a mention of it here but no instructions.

Thanks eriejwg. I have no idea why the existing thread didn't show up when I was searching for it. Anyway, hopefully someone can elaborate on how to create the 45 version.

This one's pretty straightforward. Two relatively short edits in the intro and an early fade.

Remove the segment from 0:09.1 to 0:17.3. You'll move the first guitar note forward four measures (16 beats).

Then remove the segment from 0:12.7 (LP: 0:21.0) to 0:20.9 (LP: 0:29.2). The edit is on the woodblock in between the phrases. Say to yourself, "I gotta have more woodblock, baby," while you edit this part.

Start the fade around 3:32 (LP: 3:48) and fade to zero by 3:46 (LP: 4:02).
