Not in the db, but does anyone know how to create the 3:24
45 version?

I recently acquired and dubbed the I Go To Rio 45 [A&M 2112-S]. The label lists a run time of 3:36, but the track runs 3:41 - really 3:41:500.
It’s the same mix as the LP version, but - if you attempt to edit the LP version down to match the single version, it will fade out earlier than the 45 by about 3 seconds. I tried editing a vinyl dub of the LP version, as well as my copy of the Japan mini-LP CD. Both faded out 3+ seconds too early.
The good news - if you have The Best Of Pablo Cruise-20th Century Masters The Millennium Collection, it features a longer version of the track (4:42), which you can use to replicate the single edit. Below are editing instructions; each of the following directions assumes you do them in order:
Remove the initial underwater phone conversation - approx. 23.600 seconds, leaving just 300 milliseconds of silence before the first bass drum
Remove 7.680 seconds from 4.195 to 11.876 of the resulting file
Remove 7.518 seconds from 1:50:589 to 1:58:108 of the resulting file
Remove 7.580 seconds from 2:26:958 to 2:34:538 of the resulting file
Delete the audio after 3:41.500
Fade from 3:29 to 3:41.500
As an aside - my brothers had the 'Worlds Away' LP when I was a little kid. And we heard that song on the San Francisco / bay area radio stations a lot, so I would've sworn it was a much bigger hit.

My promo 45 of this has the listed 3:36 version on one side (noted as "edited version") and a 3:58 listed version on the other noted as "edited
version with special LP intro.

A personal favorite of mine. It got plenty of airplay in the Twin Cities market and nearly hit the Top 10 on KSTP's local
charts.

My promo 12" has an unnamed version with a listed time of
4:10, and a 4:32 (which runs 4:42) version which also notes
"with special LP intro".
