aaliyah -- i don't wanna
aaron was kind enough to send me the version from his promo cd single issued as
"I Don't Wanna"
1 track promo CD (catalog Priority 9305)
1-radio mix (4:14)
after reviewing this track versus the album version i have from the romeo must die soundtarck, i can report back that they are identical...

Update: I read the catalog number incorrectly when I was passing along the info to Ed. The 1-track promo CD-R that my station received has catalog number DPRO-81340.

Another update: There is no record label info to be found anywhere on the actual disc or back insert. It just has a catalog number, along with a huge logo for the movie "Next Friday." The soundtrack was released on Priority, though, which is why I suspected it was a Priority release.
I wonder if, perhaps, they didn't have the rights to release it as a single. That would explain why no commercial single was issued and why the promo CD was issued on CD-R without any mention of a record label.
