Our commercial copy of "She Cried" by Jay & The Americans (United Artists 415) states a time of (2:25), but actually runs (2:31).

Paul:

Is the speed of the commercial 45 a bit faster than what's on CD?

Yes, it appears to be a speed issue.

Thanks, Paul. Pitched my copy from Come A Little Bit Closer up 3%. The track now runs 2:31.

It was announced a couple days ago that there will be a 65 song collection from CCM this summer of Jay & The Americans.

Steve Hoffman is mastering, along with Bob Vosgien and produced by Ed Osborne.

This will be a 3 disc set of the 'hit' mixes and their proper 'B' sides.

Great news!

very odd....my commercial 45 runs 2:34.......if you pitch
up the 2:36 mono version form the 'complete united artist
singles' cd to 2:34, you be able to re-create the proper
vinyl 45 speed....paul, can you double check you run time
again?....my run out groove info is 'ZTSP 69589-1A'
