My commercial 45 has a listed time of (2:47) and an actual time of (2:48). I only post this info because all current database CDs for this song that specify "45 version" run either (2:43) or (2:44).

my commercial 45 is like jim's....the reason for the
difference is two fold....the 2:43 45 versions run faster
than the vinyl 45.....if you pitch them to match the vinyl
45 you'll still be 0:01 short....there are 4 seagull
chirps at the end and of the song and the 2:43 45 versions
fade out before the fourth chirp.....do any of the so
called '45 versions' contain the 4 chirps?

I think the only 45 which isn't the single version is the
Mercury Timepieces reissue. Which is also true Stereo.
