my commercial cd single for the monica song "why i love you so much" issued as rowdy 35072 states the first track as as the "album version" with a listed run time of 4:30 but actually only runs 4:22....i don't have the full length cd "miss thang" to compare the differences....below are the tracks from the commercial cd single
1-why i love you so much (album version (4:30 listed; 4:22 actual)
2-ain't nobody (main mix featuring naughty by nature) (4:49 listed; 4:48 actual)
3-why i love you so much (soul power remix) (4:30 listed; 4:29 actual)

I have the Miss Thang version and offered to assist Ed on this one.
The 4:22 single version appears simply to be an early fade of the 4:30 album
version. Otherwise identical. The fade on the single begins around the 4:11
mark and is done by 4:22. The fade on the album version begins around the
4:15 mark and is done by 4:30.

Good info, JL328. I was just recently uploading Monica's "Why I Love You So Much" from my CD sources onto my backup hard drive and this very question came up, which you've now answered. Thanks!
