The following are the running times of my original U.S. 45s unless otherwise noted. I don't have a more sophisticated timing device than my clock on the wall, so these may be off by a second or two.

Renato Carosone - Torero - running time 2:59 (label says 2:50);
Ken Copeland - Pledge of Love - running time 2:17 (label says 2:05);
Tommy Edwards - It's All In The Game [1958 version] - running time 2:36 (label says 2:25);
Georgia Gibbs - Happiness Street - running time 2:32 (label says 2:15) - An aside on this one: on my 45 I hear a significant extraneous noise (tape damage?) at about 0:10 that is also present on the Mercury best of CD. I figured this noise must be on the master tape, but I was surprised to find the noise is not present on the recent Hit Parade/Eric Georgia Gibbs compilation.;
Jim Lowe - Talking To The Blues - running time 2:28 (label says 1:48);
Billy Vaughn - Th. from Three Penny Opera (original U.S. 78) - running time 2:24.

I see I've been beaten to the punch on a couple of others I have. Georgia Gibbs' 'I Want You To Be My Baby' states an incorrect time of 2:20 and the Harvey & The Moonglows' 45 gives an incorrect time of 2:43. Can anyone confirm that the LP version of 'Ten Commandments Of Love' is longer than the 45 but otherwise identical?

Allow me to point out that every CD offering "Ten Commandments of Love" does not provide the 45 version but an alternate take!

for 'Ten Commandments Of Love', I believe I have recreated the 45 using
the LP version source (from Ace The Golden Age Of American Rock'n'Roll
Vol. 6) using a dub someone sent me. Not too difficult, as the edits occur
towards the end. That LP version source (assuming it is correct...) has a
strange, cut-off word at 2:45 right before the first edit.

The excellent BSN discography goes so far as to indicate the run times of
the song on various LPs. It would seem that the original LP length was the
same as the 45, appearing in 1959 on Chess LP-1430 "Look! It's the
Moonglows". A 3:56 version shows up on the "Golden Gassers"
series of LPs in 1961 (it is not indicated as to whether or not this is an
alternate take). The 3:38 version shows up on LP-1471 "Best of Bobby
Lester and the Moonglows" in 1962. Then there's the drums overdub
version....sheesh!

Does anyone have any of these LPs to take a listen?

So, how shall we label this one? The 45 has yet to appear on a US CD.
